Team List
Oh dear, Oh dear, Oh dear. The winning streak has come to an end, with a resounding defeat away to Surrey. If it wasn’t for the singles players Paul Knight and David Gander who gained 10 out the 12 points for Bucks, and Jane Evans and Bill Faulkner who won the other two, it might have been even worse. So well done to them.
The mats were extremely quick and some of us struggled to get the weight. There were occasional flashes of brilliance and overall everyone played well but we have to accept that we were completely out bowled by a better team on their own mats. The final score was 208 shots and 28 points to Surrey and 147 shots and 12 points to Bucks.
Despite this loss, Bucks are now in second place in the group after 4 games behind Surrey but ahead of Northants and Herts. There are still two games to play so anything is possible. Let’s see if we can win these two games. Keep smiling and think positive. WE CAN DO IT !!!!!!
